100 Words: Fresh

We woke every morning between six and seven o’clock every morning. It’s good to get an early start when traveling on unpaved roads and dangerous curves, especially in the Himalayas. One morning, I woke especially early and packed the van. As my family scrambled to finish their breakfasts, I took a stroll. I climbed the stairs of a closed pharmacy, to its balcony. I stood there. The dew reflected the distant, yet near sunlight. The air so clean I swear I could have gotten sick from it.  Mountains as far as I could see.  For me, this vision is fresh.
